OWAPAL is a multi-effect finish designed to protect and decorate the raw wood of your pallet wood furniture. This innovative decorative paint renovates wooden pallets and adds a unique aesthetic touch to your creations.

OWAPAL offers three finishing effects : 1 coat = limewash effect , 2 coats = more opaque , 3 coats = completely opaque . This solution is compatible with all types of palettes. Mix them to create a variety of shades.

Application :

1. Mix well before use.
2. Apply a coat of OWAPAL in the direction of the wood grain. For a seamless finish without overlaps or marks, work by stopping at natural breaks (end of board, intersection, corner, etc.).
   For a decorative effect, it is possible to create depth of color effects by deliberately reworking the brushstrokes.
3. Allow to dry for 4 hours (temperature 20°C, relative humidity 50%).
4. Apply a second thin coat of OWAPAL if you want a more opaque finish.
5. A third layer can be applied to achieve almost total opacity.
6. To refine the wood grain, it is possible to lightly sand the wood before applying the final coat. Do not exceed 120 grit.
7. Do not exceed 36 hours between diapers.
8. When using the pallet structure with frequent cleaning or repeated contact with cleaning products (such as worktops), the application of a varnish will be essential.

2. Is it possible to use Owapal outdoors?
   Yes, but Owapal is a color finish, not a protective coating. For outdoor use, it is essential to add a further protective layer (saturator or varnish).
3. Does the product flake off over time?
   No, Owapal penetrates the wood and does not form a film, it does not blister, peel, or flake.
4. How many coats should be applied?
   Apply 1 to 2 coats depending on the desired intensity. A second coat provides a deeper and more uniform color.
5. Is the result the same on all types of wood?
   No, the final color depends on the type of wood, its absorbency, and its condition. On very rough wood, the color is darker; on finely sanded wood, it is lighter.
6. Can Owapal be applied to wood that is already varnished or stained?
   No, the surface must be bare and absorbent. Strip or sand it to expose the raw wood before application.
7. What is the drying time?
   Approximately 2 hours between coats, and 24 hours for complete drying (varies depending on conditions).

   Indoors, gentle cleaning is required; no special maintenance is needed. Outdoors, the protective product should be refreshed every 1 to 3 years depending on exposure.
