Reactiv Leaf Rust - Coating rust look - Owatrol

This coating is applicable on all properly prepared non-ferrous supports in order to create a reactive layer to the action of Rust spirit.
This activator reacts with the metallic particles of the Reactiv leaf rust and creates decorative effects of natural rust .

Properties :

• Scentless.
• Yield: approximately 5 m²/L depending on the porosity of the support and the desired decorative effect.

Application :

1. Shake well before use.
2. Ready to use, do not dilute.
3. Apply a generous layer of Reactiv leaf rust using a brush or roller (medium hair) to cover the support.
4. A second coat may be necessary if after drying (6 hours minimum) areas of lack appear.
   The product can be applied with a brush or a short or medium bristle roller depending on the aspect of the support.
5. Apply the product between 5°C and 25°C in the absence of bad weather and residual humidity.
6. Wait 6 hours before applying Rust spirit to activate Reactiv leaf rust and create your natural rust decor.

Destination :

• Reactiv leaf rust can be applied to all properly prepared, healthy, clean and dry supports (non-ferrous).
• On substrates with difficult adhesion (plastic, glass, ceramic, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, etc.) the prior application of the Absolute primer undercoat is necessary.
• On substrates sensitive to acids (certain plastics, tannic woods such as oak, chestnut, etc.), the prior application of Blocking primer is necessary.
