Easily remove all traces of residue with Marine Strip. It guarantees a more resistant surface and better adhesion of the new coating .

Quick and effective, it softens the coating to be removed ( paints, varnishes, glues , etc.) and then rinses effortlessly, leaving you with a clean surface ready for repainting. Ideal for your DIY and home-staging projects.

Properties :

• Water-based gel formula, does not drip. Solvent- and paraffin-free. Non-flammable.
• Makes the coating water-soluble. Eliminates the need for tedious scraping.
• Non-volatile, does not dry out and remains active for a long time.
• Removes several layers in a single application (leave it on for several hours).
• Allows for a complete stripping of the wood** because it also eliminates the stains impregnated in the wood.
• It does not attack sound plastics, rubbers, synthetic coatings and gelcoats.
• Ideal for large surfaces or intricately designed substrates.

Application :

1. Apply a thick coat of MARINE STRIP to the entire surface to be stripped.
2. Leave the product to act according to the indicative table below.
3. If it dries out, reactivate by spraying with a fine mist of water.
4. When the coating is ready to be removed, rinse thoroughly with a jet of water while brushing (synthetic brush) or with a high-pressure cleaner (max 50 bars).
5. On wet wood, immediately after rinsing, it is essential to neutralize with DECK CLEANER.
   If necessary, lightly sand the dry wood (100 grit max) to even out the surface before the new finish.
   Using hot water makes removing the coating easier.

Yield per layer

Stains, paints, glycerophthalic varnishes: 15 to 20 minutes per layer to be stripped.

Acrylic stains, paints, varnishes: Carry out a systematic test on a small area to determine the action time of MARINE STRIP.

Antifouling paints: Leave to act for a minimum of 12 hours.

• Exterior use as it requires rinsing with plenty of water.
• Suitable for use on wood**, metal**, plastic, gelcoat... Vertical and horizontal surfaces.
