Soudafoam SMX - Isocyanate-free polyurethane foam - Soudal

Soudafoam SMX is a flexible construction foam for filling, based on SMX technology. Isocyanate free (Sweden SP test report F4 17356). The foam has all the characteristics of a traditional PU foam, without the emission of potentially harmful substances.

Features :

• 100% isocyanate free.
• High filling performance.
• Very high stability (no shrinkage and no post-expansion).
• Very good thermal and acoustic insulation.

Applications:

• fill and insulate door and window frames Fill and insulate all types of joints.

Manual :

• Shake the can vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
• Attach the hose to the valve of the bomb. Turn everything over and press the lever.
• Only partially fill the voids (approx. 1/3).
• Shake the can regularly during use.
• In case of application of several coats, moisten the support between each coat.
• After use, thoroughly clean the valve and pipe with Soudal FOAMCLEANER.
• Clean uncured foam stains with Soudal FOAMCLEANER.
• Hardened foam can only be removed mechanically, with Soudal PU-remover.
• Operating temperature: + 5°C - + 30°C.
• Light moistening of the substrates accelerates hardening and guarantees an even better cell structure.
• Preferably store upright.
