Parafoam NBS Grey - Sprayable polyurethane foam - DL Chemicals

Professional sprayable polyurethane foam. Seals, insulates, and fills joints. Ideal for sealing between concrete structures. The foam has a discreet appearance due to its gray color.

• Single-component polyurethane foam
• Does not react with the components of curing concrete (other types of silicones may cause the joint edges to appear crumbled after the concrete dries). Cured silicone can be easily removed from concrete.

Applications:

• Seal, insulate and fill joints: walls and ceilings, roof openings, door and window frames, between prefabricated elements, roof windows, chimneys, around pipes and ducts, etc.
• Sealing of cavities in sanitary, heating and electrical wiring installations
• Installation and insulation of bathtubs, shower trays, refrigeration appliances, water heaters, etc.

Instructions for use:

1. Preparation :
   • Wear gloves and safety glasses.
   • Do not apply in confined spaces. It is important to ventilate areas well during application and curing.
   • Warm cold cans with lukewarm water. Cans should not be heated above +30°C. Cans that are too hot should be cooled with water. Shake the can to reach the required temperature more quickly.
   • Surfaces must be free of dust and grease. Always pre-moisten surfaces, as the foam expands due to moisture.
   • Shake the spray can vigorously at least 20 times.
   • Hold the spray can upright when screwing the NBS gun. Move the gun toward the spray can by holding the gun handle with one hand and screwing the can with the other. Do not tilt the can while screwing.
2. Laid :
   • Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam. Adjust the flow rate by operating the adjustment screw and trigger or with the adapter.
   • Fill joints and cavities 60-70%.
   • For wider joints, apply in several coats and moisten between coats.
   • Return the can with the gun or adapter to a vertical position after use.
3. Cleaning:
   • Cleaning fresh foam with PU Foam & Gun Cleaner. Cleaning hardened foam with Parafoam Remover.
