Beton ST - Ready-mix concrete - PTB Compaktuna

Beton ST is a dry, ready-to-use prepared concrete that is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Features :

• Used for pouring reinforced or unreinforced concrete constructions, floors, foundations, lintels, foundation blocks, concrete slabs, decorative elements and repairing floors.
• Made up of cement, selected quartz sands, gravel and high quality aggregates.
• By simply adding water, we obtain a concrete with high final strength, very good workability and exceptional fluidity.

Manual :

Support:

1. The application will always be carried out on a raw, clean surface, free of dust, traces of oil and loose particles.
   The absorbent supports will first be moistened or treated with a solution of COMPAKTUNA (PRO) /water (1/4) or with PRIMER PO .
2. To pour floors, foundations, foundation blocks, etc., the BETON ST will be poured onto a plastic sheet.

Preparation :

Adhesion layer

1. To pour BETON ST onto existing concrete or to repair floors, we advise you to first place an adhesion layer.
2. This adhesion layer is composed of one volume of COMPAKTUNA (PRO) and 2 volumes of water.
3. This COMPAKTUNA (PRO) /water solution is added to a dry mixture consisting of half cement and half Rhine sand until a thick slip is obtained.
4. The BETON ST will be poured onto the adhesive layer which is still wet.

Concrete

1. BETON ST must be mixed with 10% to 12% water, i.e. ±2.5 L to 3 L of water per 25 kg bag of product.
2. Per 25 kg bag, pour the necessary quantity of water into a tank or concrete mixer and add the prepared concrete slowly and evenly.
3. Mix everything intensively for 5 minutes until you obtain a homogeneous mass without lumps.
4. The prepared concrete is left to rest for 2 minutes and then mixed again intensively.
5. During or directly after casting, the BETON ST is compacted by means of vibrations, using a vibrating needle or a ruler to do so.
6. Level the concrete with a straight slat to the desired thickness.
7. When the concrete has set, it can be polished using a trowel (rotating movements).
   If desired, smooth the final surface with a smoother.

Consumption :

1 bag gives ±13 L of prepared concrete

Usage time:

±2 hours

Mix ratio:

±2.5 L to 3 L of water per 25 kg bag (±10 to 12%)

Conditioning :

25 kg: Grey.
