You can choose from several grates for the ACO Europoint drain. Europoint is an easy-to-install floor drain , regardless of your exterior flooring.

If the grate will not bear the weight of a vehicle (load class A15) , we recommend a galvanized steel walkway grate or a stainless steel longitudinal walkway grate. Conversely, if you plan to drive a car over the grate at moderate speeds (load class B125) , opt for a galvanized steel grating or a cast iron walkway grate.

You have the option of adding a stylish stainless steel frame for an even more elegant finish (available separately). The frame can be placed on any grill. One side of the frame is designed for use with stainless steel and galvanized steel grills. The other side is black and can be used with a cast iron grill.

1. Is the grid compatible with all Europoint boxes?
   Yes, the grilles are designed to fit into ACO Europoint housings of the corresponding dimensions (200 or 300 mm). Check the exact part number before purchasing.
2. Which material should I choose?
   Galvanized steel, economical, perfect for residential use. Stainless steel, recommended for humid or saline environments (swimming pools, seaside). Ductile iron, ideal for heavier loads (vehicles).
3. Can the gate withstand the passage of cars?
   Yes, if you choose a B125 or C250 model, designed for areas accessible by vehicle.
4. How do I maintain the grill?
   A simple manual removal allows access to the basket or inspection chamber for removing leaves and debris. No special tools are required.
5. Can the grid be cut?
   No, the grid must retain its structure and should not be cut. Instead, choose the appropriate size.
6. Is the grid resistant to frost and inclement weather?
   Yes, all the materials offered are designed for year-round outdoor use.
7. Is it compatible with a Europoint siphon?
   Yes, Europoint grids integrate perfectly with ACO systems, including siphons and filter baskets.
