OT015 - EPDM membrane adhesive - Illbruck

OT015 is intended for bonding EPDM membranes on the usual building supports: concrete, masonry, wood, aluminum, steel and for grouting the membrane on itself.

It is also used to: 

• Additional sealing on the screw heads in case of through fasteners.
• Other applications for bonding elements in EPDM.

Advantage: 

• Very good weather and temperature resistance.
• Excellent adhesion on concrete, masonry, wood, aluminum, steel.
• Fast drying time.

Implementation:

• Use with ME220 Exterior EPDM Membrane adhesive butyl strips and ME241 corner corner.
• The butyl adhesive strips are positioned with a shrinkage of 3 cm from the edges of the EPDM membrane, to allow subsequent bonding with OT015 glue.
• Cut the EPDM membrane to the desired length.
• Remove the protective film from the butyl adhesive and position the membrane by pressing on the bonding areas with a marouflage wheel.
• Make sure that the membrane is laid without tension.
• Apply a bead of OT015 glue at the bottom of the throat, between the prepared supports and the membrane. Marouflage in such a way that a film of glue of about 1 to 3mm thickness is obtained depending on the support.
• Smooth the edges of the EPDM membrane with a spatula to seal them with glue.
• In some cases, it may be necessary to reopen the edges of the membrane to allow faster evaporation of the solvent from the glue and then remarouflage them.
• Carefully clean the supports and the ME241 corner corner.
• Application according to the implementation book of the illbruck ME220 membrane.

Health and safety precautions: 

• Keep out of reach of children. 
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes. 

Cleaning: 

• Fresh glue can be removed with AA409 Biodegradable Cleaner or AA404.
• For a dry glue, only the use of mechanical means allows cleaning.

Conditioning: 

• Bag of 600 ml.
• Color: Black.
