Firecryl FR - Acrylic fire barrier putty - Soudal

Firecryl is a plasto-elastic sealant, based on acrylic dispersions, which swells at temperatures of +120°C and prevents smoke and fire from passing through.

Features :

• Prevents the spread of fire and smoke
• Inflates from 120°C.
• Recoatable after hardening
• Very malleable
• Permanent elasticity after polymerization
• Colorfast and waterproof after curing
• Good adhesion on porous substrates

Applications:

• Interior fire and smoke proof applications.
• Sealing fireproof joints in walls and ceiling.
• Sealing crevices and fire breaks in concrete and plaster.
• Applications where the sealant must be covered with water-based paints or lacquers.

Manual :

1. Do not apply if there is a risk of rain or frost during the drying process.
2. Method of application: With manual or pneumatic gun.
3. Finish with a spatula or painter's knife.
4. Cleaning agent: It is possible to remove Firecryl FR from materials and tools with water before hardening.
5. Finishing: With a soapy solution or a Soudal smoothing product, before lamination.
6. Repair: With Firecryl FR
