Bourrelet 511 is a solution for thermal insulation and passive fire protection .

Features

The Bourrelet 511 is a joint base in glass wool without organic binder, enclosed in a guipure of galvanized steel wire.

• The Bourrelet 511 is used in combination with the SikaHyflex-250 Façade for the fireproof grouting of the joints.
  The system also ensures the thermal insulation of the joints between prefabricated elements.
• Bourrelet 511 is designed for the thermal insulation of straight pipes or preferably sinuous lines up to 500°C on the hot face in continuous operation.

Application

1. Insert the Bead 511 into the joint using a blunt tool.
2. Ensure total contact between 2 pieces of Bourrelet 511 as well as in the corners in order to obtain maximum fire resistance. After the correct positioning of the Bourrelet 511, the joint must be filled using the SikaHyflex-250 Façade mastic.
