      Textured Whitewash - Mineral Paint - Seifert

      Durable mineral paint for an authentic, ecological, thicker and protective finish on facades, for both new construction and renovation.
      Structured Whitewash is characterized by a sandy grain .
      The exclusive "Reduced Dust Emission" technique (unique in Europe) of the Structured Whitewash allows for better working comfort (e.g. less dust in the lungs during mixing) and excellent ease of implementation.

      Composition :

      • Hydraulic lime
      • Washed chalk
      • White cement (very limited)
      • Laminated and washed quartz grain
      • Organic additives and mineral colorants
      • Sealants
      • Additive to make the whitewash low-dust

      Areas of application:

      Structured Whitewash can only be applied to an open, mineral and absorbent surface (e.g. lime or cement surfaces, facing bricks, tile, ...).
      Structured Whitewash cannot be applied on, for example, plastic, metal and wood paints.

      Consumption :

      • 2 to 3 kg/m² for 2 coats (depending on the surface).

      Packaging:

      FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

      1. Is textured whitewash suitable for damp rooms?
        Yes, it can be applied in moderately humid rooms (bathrooms, laundry rooms), provided that the substrate is sound and there is sufficient ventilation.
      2. Can it be applied over old paint?
        Yes, but only if the existing paint is mineral-based, microporous, and well-adhered. Otherwise, it's advisable to sand or remove the paint and then use a suitable mineral primer.
      3. Is this product compatible with lime?
        Yes, it adheres very well to lime plasters and breathable mineral substrates.
      4. Can it be used outdoors?
        Yes, Seifert textured whitewash is designed to withstand weathering, UV rays and climatic variations.
      5. How to achieve a highly structured effect?
        By using a trowel, a spalter brush, or by applying more material. The relief will depend on the technique and the applicator's hand.
      6. Will the color change over time?
        The mineral finish may develop a slight patina, which is normal for mineral paints. However, it does not yellow and ages gracefully. 7
      7. What kind of maintenance should be planned?
        Occasional dusting. Avoid harsh products; a damp sponge is sufficient.
      8. Is it possible to recoat the whitewash later?
        Yes, it can be painted or reworked with other mineral coatings.
