Dark brown in colour , the BioWeedtex non-woven geotextile (Biocovers) blends harmoniously into the landscape. This ecological geotextile prevents the growth of weeds and improves the growth of your plants .

BioWeedtex (Biocovers) is a biodegradable mulching fabric made of heat-fixed needle-punched PLA fibres. It is easy to use, flexible and very stretchy . BioWeedtex is in open diffusion and allows the free passage of water and air .

Placed on a new embankment , BioWeedtex prevents the leaching of fine particles , the creation of gullies and contributes to stabilization . BioWeedtex will break down naturally and gradually disappear after a minimum period of 4 years. Just long enough for your plantations to develop.

Thanks to its dark color and the humidity maintained under the BioWeedtex, the "tropical" thermal effect guarantees faster growth of the plantations and this with little maintenance. Thanks to its stability to ultraviolet rays, it is not necessary to cover it with chips.

Implementation :

Unroll the BioWeedtex biodegradable mulching cloth on the previously leveled and cleaned soil. Provide an overlap of the strips over a minimum of 20 cm.
Then fix the geotextile with metal hooks (min. 1/m²) driven into the ground.

Mark the places planned for planting with a cross using a cutter. Open BioWeedtex to plant. Then, it will be necessary to close the BioWeedtex on the base of the plantation and remove the soil residues.
