Technodrain 6.2 is a thin and flexible drainage geocomposite . It consists of a three-dimensional alveolar structure membrane with a very high void ratio and covered on both sides with a non-woven geotextile.

With a load-bearing capacity of up to 45 t/m², this drain is ideal for horizontal drainage under high pressure. It also provides solutions for vertical drainage , ventilation, and protection of your foundations , walls , tunnels , etc.

In addition, its double structure with high drainage capacity allows ventilation of the foundation and protection during backfilling while avoiding hydrostatic pressures .

For the installation of TechnoDrain 6.2 as a horizontal drainage system over a waterproofing membrane, the geocomposite strips must be unrolled edge to edge, and the overlapping geotextile must be deployed over the adjacent panel. The stabilized sand used as a bedding layer for paving or slabs will then be laid on top of the TechnoDrain 6.2. Its dual structure allows water infiltrating through the paving to flow both above and below the membrane, thus preventing water from pooling on the waterproofing.

For vertical drainage, TechnoDrain 6.2 will be installed against the waterproof membrane before the soil is brought against the buried walls. Its dual structure with high drainage capacity allows for foundation ventilation and protection during backfilling while reducing hydrostatic pressure. The water collected in the membrane will be directed to a drainage system located at the base of the foundation.
