PRESENTATION

Recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) fiber is durable and quick-drying. It allows for the creation of a stylish and versatile entrance mat. Its customization options offer attractive looks for high-quality products, thanks to the unique composition of technical textiles, backing, and a multitude of possibilities.

This doormat is intended for indoor or covered outdoor use to beautify your home, entrance hall, business, shop, administration, school or office, etc.

It is not recommended to place it in direct sunlight as it will eventually fade.

EDGE THICKNESS AND FINISH:

• ± 7 mm with a 2 cm rubber edge (doormat to be placed on the floor)
• ± 7 mm without edge (recessed doormat)

The ± 7 mm doormat (without edge) can be placed in a pit and surrounded by a doormat frame.

The 2cm wide rubber edge has a thickness of 2.5mm.

DOORMAT UNDERLAYER:

The doormat is available with 2 different soles.

1. Smooth sole: A smooth rubber sole.
2. Claw sole: A sole raised by rubber "studs" ideal for dirty places, slopes or any other place where grip is not optimal.

INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THE TRANSMISSION OF YOUR IMAGE-PHOTO-LOGO

NOTE: All projects are checked before studies and production of a "PRINT SET" proof.

Only YOUR APPROVAL of the "PROOF" will trigger the production of your rug and then its preparation for shipment. Please note that no corrections can be made after approval and production of the proof.

Instructions for obtaining the proof after ordering:

1. You must take into account the dimensions ordered and the proportions of your sketch.
2. Your image should, if possible, be provided at the exact dimensions of the project (and in good resolution).
3. You send us an image/photo of your project by email in JPG (standard), PDF, PNG, PSD, TIFF, or AI format.
4. The image is uploaded by our graphics department and verified.
5. The image is resized to match your ordered external dimensions. It is reduced, where applicable, by the thickness of the frame or rubber border.
6. The colors in your image are recalculated and/or blended to fit within the palette of 66 basic colors.
7. A proof copy will be sent to you by email and/or to your customer account.
8. You can request corrections or adaptations*
9. You unequivocally approve the proof by email.
10. We confirm and begin production of your custom-made rug.

Attention :

• Allow for a margin of +/- 3 cm on the edges of the image to manage tolerances.
• The color of the item and the print color may differ from the image displayed on the screen or on paper.
• You can provide us with the Pantone/RGB references for your logo to ensure accurate color matching. If no references are provided, we will use standard colors. Some technical deviations from the Pantone/RGB colors should be tolerated.
• The proof is sent at 100% actual size, unless different dimensions and/or percentage are indicated (e.g. 25%: the final result is therefore 4 times larger).
• Please check the proof carefully. Once you have approved the proof, we are no longer responsible for any errors in the text, logo, and/or image.

* To prevent abuse, corrections to the final proof are permitted up to a limit of 3 revisions. However, for those less experienced, participation in the graphic design services could be considered to help achieve the desired project.

CHOICE OF DOORMAT FRAME

When ordering a custom-made frame, you must specify the frame's external dimensions . Our technical department will then calculate the usable dimensions of the doormat.

To compensate for the thickness of the doormat frame, it may be necessary to level the bottom of the doormat (using a leveling compound such as Egaline) or add a rubber underlay of a few millimeters; see "RUB - Rubber underlay for entrance doormats" on this page.

HD digital printing is done on white fibers; specialized and durable dyes are sprayed directly onto the fibers (like current color printers).

During the drying process, the color fuses with the fibers for maximum durability.

The mat or doormat is then vulcanized onto the rubber to permanently fix the fibers.

SUPPORT & BACK

The printed mat can also be glued to the underlay or attached using Velcro or double-sided adhesive... However, this reduces the options for care and maintenance.

ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT

The manufacturer is committed to reducing the environmental footprint of its product production.

For this reason, the products are manufactured using 100% reusable energy and local materials.

ECOSTAR doormats are produced using PET yarns, 100% of which come from recycled material.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

WATERSATR mats can be cleaned by following these instructions:

• Vacuum regularly (daily in high-traffic commercial areas; weekly in low-traffic areas).
• Extract or clean with a water jet, as needed, to remove heavy dirt/debris.
• Hang the rug to dry.

Carpets must always be dry before being put back into service.

Attention :

• The doormat is printed using a press that dyes the fibers. The doormat then goes into an oven to set the dye. This oven process will cause the doormat to shrink by approximately 2 cm on each side. Therefore, please do not submit photos, images, drawings, logos, etc., with border elements that could be lost when the doormat shrinks, or anticipate this shrinkage by adding a margin of approximately 2 cm to your artwork.
