Eco-friendly aluminum tileable cover

Aluminum tile cover, with a double bottom to prevent any unpleasant odor, the cover is integrated into the floor.

This cover is suitable for tiles up to a thickness of 30 mm.

It is equipped with an O-ring to minimize odor. The cover is lifted from the wellhead using the provided keys. For sizes 59 x 59 (and larger), four keys are included. For sizes smaller than 59 x 59, only two keys are included.

Aluminum sheet covers are not standardized. They easily achieve resistance class A15 (pedestrians, cyclists, trolleys, etc.). The cover's strength is also determined by the material placed within it. It is recommended to use poured concrete for this type of cover, then place the metal reinforcement inside, and finally lay the paving stones while the concrete is still wet. This allows for a resistance class of B125.

1. Can this lid be used outdoors?
   Yes, aluminum is very resistant to weathering and corrosion. This ECO model is suitable for patios, walkways, and outdoor tiled areas.
2. Is the lid airtight?
   The ECO model is not 100% waterproof, but it is designed for standard installations without significant water exposure. Specific models are available for installations requiring enhanced waterproofing.
3. Can you walk on it once it's installed?
   Yes, once properly tiled and sealed, the cover can withstand pedestrian traffic. For heavier traffic (light vehicles, industrial areas), reinforced versions are available.
4. How do I access the inspection chamber after installation?
   The lid is removable. A small notch allows it to be grasped with a flat tool (screwdriver, suction cup, hook, etc.). The tile remains attached to the frame.
5. Should a slope or a special reserve be planned?
   No, the installation is done like a standard frame. You just need to properly align the level with the future tiling.
6. Does the lid come with a frame?
   Yes, the kit includes the frame and the ready-to-install aluminum cover.
7. Can you tile directly onto it?
   Yes, simply apply your usual tile adhesive to the aluminum surface provided for this purpose.
