ProtectGuard Color is a colored water and oil repellent impregnation for concrete.
ProtectGuard Color is not a coating, but an impregnation that does not form a film and protects the original structure of the concrete.

Implementation

Preparation of the support

1. Apply the product to a clean, dust-free, degreased and dry surface.

Application

1. Use the product in its pure state: do not dilute.
2. Shake the packaging well before use so as to perfectly homogenize the pigments with the rest of the composition.
3. Carry out a preliminary test.

Application to HVLP

• Application from bottom to top in 2 to 4 crossed passes maximum depending on the desired appearance.
• Do not overload.
• Drying time between each pass: 15 minutes.

Roller application (only on 100% opacities and on smooth, non-textured surfaces)

• Application from bottom to top in 2 or 3 passes using the brush, spread the product well on the support without overloading.
• In case of brush marks, homogenize with the short nap roller.
• Drying time between each pass: 30 minutes.
• Protected drying: 24 hours.
• Maximum effectiveness obtained after 7 days.

Consumption

6 to 8 m²/L.
