Pararoof Bitumen - Fibre-reinforced plastic bitumen-rubber sealant - DL Chemicals

Fiber-reinforced plastic rubber-bitumen joint sealant. For repairing bitumen roofs and waterproofing details of joints, seams, eaves, skylights, rainwater drains, etc. Thixotropic consistency: does not run or pull on threads. Moisture-resistant after curing. Adheres to virtually all building materials.

Applications:

• Gutter and drainage pipe repair.
• Waterproof finishing of complex roof details such as domes, upstands, skylights, chimneys, vent pipes, gutters, etc.
• Waterproofing of bituminous surfaces, roofs, roof rolls, tiles, insulation panels, etc.
• Sealing joints, seams and roof edge closures.

Instructions for use:

1. Preparation :
   • Surfaces must be solid, dry and free from dust and grease.
   • The user must ensure that the product used is suitable for his use.
   • It is advisable to test the product on all surfaces before use.
   • Test the product for compatibility with polystyrene and other insulation boards.
2. Primary:
   • On very absorbent or dusty surfaces (concrete, cement, etc.) first apply the quick-drying (30 min) Pararoof Quick Primer bituminous fixative.
3. Laid :
   • Apply with a hand gun or putty knife.
   • Do not apply thermal, mechanical or chemical loads until completely cured.
4. Cleaning:
   • Clean the tools with white spirit
   • After hardening, mechanically remove the hardened elements.
