Sikafloor-4020 FiberLevel is a fiber -reinforced, fast-setting gypsum-cement leveling mortar for floors .

The product combines the advantages of calcium sulfate (gypsum) and cement with the addition of fibers.
This helps reduce shrinkage and achieve rapid drying, which is ideal for the subsequent application of floor coverings.

Areas of application

For leveling and smoothing surfaces indoors before applying:

• Textile floor coverings

Application

1. Add a maximum of 4.4 litres of water to a 20 kg bag.
2. Use a single or double blade electric mixer (< 600 rpm) with a spiral/helical blade for mixing.
3. Pour 4.2 to 4.4 liters of clean water into a clean mixing container.
4. Mix slowly, gradually adding the entire bag of powder to the water.
5. Mix continuously for 2 minutes to obtain a smooth, uniform mixture and an even distribution of fibers.
   If necessary, add more water to achieve the required consistency. (maximum 4.4 liters of water per 20 kg bag)
6. To allow the trapped air to escape, let the product stand for approximately 3 minutes.
7. Mix again for about 1 minute.
8. When applying in 2 layers, do not exceed the maximum thickness of 20 mm.
   The thickness of the second layer cannot exceed the thickness of the first layer.
9. Pour the Sikafloor-4020 FiberLevel mixture onto the substrate.
10. Spread the product evenly using a smoothing trowel or an adjustable leveling squeegee, to the required thickness.
11. Allow the product to level out on the surface.

FAQ

Can Sikafloor-4020 FibreLevel be applied in multiple coats?
Yes, it is possible to apply in several coats, but the first coat must be allowed to dry, sanded again if necessary and re-primed according to Sika recommendations.

Can it be used on underfloor heating?
Yes, if the underfloor heating is compatible (low-temperature water heating). It is essential to strictly follow the heating and shutdown procedures before application.

Is it absolutely necessary to apply a primer?
Yes. To guarantee adhesion, prevent bubbles, and ensure flatness, a primer is mandatory depending on the substrate (concrete, cement screed, anhydrite, tiles, etc.). 4. Can it be used outdoors? No, Sikafloor-4020 FiberLevel is designed for indoor use only. 5. How long is the waiting time before tiling? Generally 12 to 24 hours depending on thickness, temperature, and humidity. Refer to the technical data sheet for exact values. 6. Is it compatible with existing tiles? Yes, provided the tiles are well-adhered, clean, degreased, and primed. 7. What is the consumption per m²? Allow approximately 1.6 kg/m²/mm, or nearly 16 kg/m² for 10 mm. 8. Can it correct significant unevenness? Yes, thanks to its fiber-reinforced formulation, it can support greater thicknesses while limiting the risk of cracking.
