Lightweight access hatches with a 30/30/3 mm aluminium frame and a reinforced 5/7 mm ribbed sheet.

• Hatches smaller than 60 x 60 cm are reinforced with 1 reinforcement.
• The 60 x 60 cm and 70 x 70 cm hatches are reinforced by 2 reinforcements.
• Hatches measuring 80 x 80 cm and larger are reinforced by 3 reinforcements.

In an application where the upper part of the pit must be closed by a lid that must also be easily removable for access to the ventilated void, the drainage pipes, the collectors…

The reinforcements on this access hatch do not increase its strength. They simply allow the sheet metal to remain straight and not bend or sag over time and with use.

Composition :

The frame is a 30/30/3 mm aluminum angle (AL-MG-SI 0.5).
The mitered corners are reinforced with galvanized steel supports.
These are fixed with screws to the underside and sides of the angle bracket in order to obtain an assembly that does not deform.

Anchoring to the support is achieved via galvanized steel fasteners screwed into the horizontal flat of the angle bracket.
The cover consists of a reinforced, non-slip, ribbed aluminum sheet with a thickness of 5/7 which is supported around its perimeter by a quadrangular aluminum profile (22 x 22 x 2mm).
The reinforced ribbed sheet metal has a bolt in its center which allows the cover to be easily removed.
