Ribbed aluminium access hatch - Alutrap PAD - Rosco

Lightweight access hatches with a 30/30/3 mm aluminum frame and 3.5/5 or 5/7 mm ribbed sheet metal.

Application :

In the context of an application reserved for pedestrians where the upper part of the pit must be closed by a cover which must also be able to be easily removed for access to the ventilated space, to the evacuation pipes, to the collectors, etc.

Access hatches: the solution for covering pits subject to water distribution regulations (article 20.3).

• Thickness 3.5/5 : low pedestrian crossing.
• Thickness 5/7 : regular pedestrian crossing.

Please note: Several standard dimensions available in 5/7 but only one standard dimension available in 3.5/5, 860 x 660 mm.

Composition :

• The frame is a 30/30/3 mm aluminum angle (AL-MG-SI 0.5).
• Mitered corners are reinforced with galvanized steel supports.
  These are fixed by screws to the bottom and sides of the angle in order to obtain an assembly which does not deform.
• Anchoring in the support is carried out via galvanized steel fasteners screwed into the horizontal flat of the angle.
• The cover is made up of a non-slip ribbed aluminum sheet with a thickness of 3.5/5 or 5/7 which is supported on its perimeter by a quadrangular aluminum profile (22 x 22 x 2mm).
• The ribbed sheet has a bolt in the center which allows the cover to be easily removed.
