A putty based on an acrylate dispersion that can be quickly painted "wet-on-wet"

Applications:

• Sealing and plugging of tears and cracks.
• Suitable for all porous surfaces (wood, stone, concrete, plaster, etc.), metal and ceramic tiles.
• Sealing of joints with low movement (max. 7.5%), such as around door and window frames, stairs, baseboards, walls, ceilings, etc.

Instructions for use:

1. Preparation :
   • Do not apply in confined spaces. It is important to ventilate the areas well during application and curing.
   • The surfaces must be solid, dry, and free from dust and grease.
   • If necessary, degrease with Parasilico Cleaner , MEK, alcohol or ethanol.
   • The user must ensure that the product used is suitable for their intended purpose. If necessary, contact our technical support.
2. Primary schools:
   • As a primer, a mixture of two parts water and one part sealant can be applied.
3. Laid :
   • Apply the product from the cartridge/pouch with a manual or pneumatic caulking gun.
   • The size and shape of the joint are very important. Avoid thin joints.
   • Do not apply thermal, mechanical or chemical loads before complete hardening.
4. Joint dimensions:
   • Allowable joint widths from 5 mm to 25 mm.
   • For joints up to 10 mm wide: the joint depth must be equal to the joint width. For joints wider than 10 mm: the joint depth = (joint width/3) + 6 mm.
5. Smoothing:
   • Smooth before skin formation with the Perfect Joint Tool smoothing palette or with a putty knife moistened with water.
6. Repair :
   • With the same product.
7. Paint :
   • Given the wide variety of paint types available, it is recommended to test the compatibility between the sealant and the paint beforehand.
   • Particularly suitable for single-coat wall and ceiling paints.

1. Can Paracryl Deco be painted with any type of paint?
   Yes, it is compatible with most wall paints (acrylic, latex, dispersion). For lacquers or very thin paints, a preliminary test is recommended.
2. How long should you wait before painting?
   Often it takes as little as 1 hour, but this depends on the thickness of the joint, the temperature, the humidity, and the type of paint. For a perfect finish, some professionals wait 2–3 hours.
3. Can Paracryl Deco be used outdoors?
   This product is primarily intended for indoor use. For outdoor use, use an acrylic or hybrid sealant specifically formulated for the weather conditions.
4. Is there a risk that the sealant will crack under the paint?
   No, provided that the minimum drying time is respected, and joints that are too deep are avoided (filling them in several layers if necessary).
5. Is it possible to sand the putty?
   Yes, once dry, Paracryl Deco can be very lightly sanded to obtain a perfect finish.
6. Can it be used in a bathroom?
   Only for areas not directly exposed to water. For joints subject to moisture, use a silicone sealant.
7. How do I clean the tools?
   Keep in water until the product has polymerized.
8. Does the product yellow over time?
   No, Paracryl Deco remains stable and does not yellow, especially when covered with paint.
