One-component plasto-elastic paintable putty with excellent processing ability.

For sealing joints with low to moderate movement (max. 12.5%).

Applications:

• Sealing of joints with low to moderate movement (max. 12.5%), such as around door and window frames, stairs, baseboards, walls, ceilings, etc.
• Sealing and plugging of tears and cracks.
• Suitable for all porous surfaces (wood, stone, concrete, plaster, etc.), metal and ceramic tiles.
• For outdoor applications where the joints need to be repainted.

Instructions for use:

1. Preparation :
   • Do not apply in confined spaces. It is important to ventilate the areas well during application and curing.
   • The surfaces must be solid, dry and free from dust and grease.
   • If necessary, degrease with Parasilico Cleaner , MEK, alcohol or ethanol.
   • The user must ensure that the product used is suitable for their intended purpose. If necessary, contact our technical support.
2. Primary schools:
   • As a primer, a mixture of two parts water and one part sealant can be applied.
3. Laid :
   • Apply the product from the cartridge/pouch with a manual or pneumatic caulking gun.
   • The size and shape of the joint are very important. Avoid thin joints.
   • Do not apply thermal, mechanical or chemical loads before complete hardening.
4. Joint dimensions:
   • Allowable joint widths from 5 mm to 25 mm
   • For joints up to 10 mm wide: the joint depth must be equal to the joint width. For joints wider than 10 mm: the joint depth = (joint width/3) + 6 mm.
5. Smoothing:
   • Smooth before skin formation with the Perfect Joint Tool smoothing palette or with a putty knife moistened with water.
6. Cleaning:
   • Before hardening: clean tools and surfaces with water and remove any unhardened residue.
   • After hardening, mechanically remove the hardened elements.
7. Repair :
   • With the same product.
8. Paint :
   • Can be painted after curing with most water-based and solvent-based paints. Curing time depends on the dimensions of the joint.
   • Given the wide variety of paint types available, it is recommended to test the compatibility between the sealant and the paint beforehand.
   • Repainting too quickly can cause the paint to crack and/or reduce its matte finish. Cracks can also form in the paint because it is less flexible than the sealant.

1. Is Paracryl Pro really combable?
   Yes, it is perfectly paintable once the skin has formed. For solvent-based paints, a preliminary test is recommended.

   Yes, after complete polymerization, it is very weather-resistant. Be sure to apply it in dry weather.
3. Does the sealant remain flexible?
   Yes, Paracryl Pro is plasto-elastic, which allows it to follow the small expansions of materials without cracking.
4. Can it be used to fill cracks in a wall?
   Yes, it is ideal for filling small cracks, gaps and holes before painting.
5. Is it compatible with wood?
   It adheres perfectly to the wood and can be lightly sanded once dry.
6. How long does it take for complete drying?
   Generally, allow 24 hours, depending on the thickness, temperature and humidity.
7. How do I clean up the excess product?
   Before drying, use water and a damp cloth. After drying, scrape mechanically.
