Soudatape OC - Waterproofing tape - Soudal

Waterproofing strip. For waterproofing 2D junctions and 3D corners between walls and floors in bathrooms and showers.

Benefits:

• Permanent elasticity at high and low temperatures.
• Excellent thermal stability.
• Maximum elongation: 70% in width and 300% in length.
• Resistant to alkalis.
• Resistant to salts.
• Resistant to several acidic and chemical products typical in bathrooms.

Applications:

1. Preparation of support:

• The support must first be covered with a first layer of a Soudal membrane.

2. Application:

• Push the Soudatape ST, IC or OC firmly with its polypropylene part into the cool membrane and let dry.
• Once the first layer has hardened, apply the second layer of Soudal membrane. (see the data sheets for each product).
• Lay the Soudatape strips by overlapping them with the preformed corners.

Conditioning:

OC soudatape: preformed outer corner, width 150 mm, length 2x120 mm.

Consumption:

• 1 IC or OC Soudatape per corner, with 50 mm overlap on the Soudatape ST.
