Superior performance sprayable PU foam with excellent thermal and acoustic properties that protects against heat, cold, humidity and noise.
Particularly suitable for insulating and sealing holes and cavities, both indoors and outdoors.

Instructions for use:

1. Shake the aerosol can for at least 30 seconds, or at least 20 times vigorously.
2. Screw the aerosol can onto the gun.
3. Lightly dampen the clean and grease-free surface for faster hardening of the foam.
4. Only partially fill the gaps (approx. 65%), as the foam continues to expand.
5. Shake the aerosol can regularly during use.
6. If applying multiple coats, dampen the surface between each coat.
7. Uncured foam can be removed using Soudal Foamcleaner or acetone.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the difference between a standard foam and a "high-performance" foam?
   The superior performance foam offers a much higher projected volume, allowing you to cover a larger area with a single can. It also ensures more even and better-controlled expansion.
2. Can this foam be used without a gun?
   No, this version is exclusively for use with a PU foam gun, and requires a PU foam gun to ensure precise dosing.
3. What materials does the foam adhere to?
   It adheres to concrete, brick, wood, plaster, stone, metal, PVC, aluminum and many plastics. It does not adhere to PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon).
4. Can the foam be applied outdoors?
   Yes, but it must be protected by a coating, paint or finish, because PU foams are sensitive to UV light.
5. How long does it take for the foam to harden?
   The foam begins to form a film within a few minutes and becomes cuttable after approximately 30 to 40 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity.
6. Is it possible to paint the foam?
   Yes, once it has hardened. It can also be sanded, cut or shaped.
7. How to clean up fresh excesses?
   Use Soudal PU foam cleaner before hardening. Once hardened, the foam can only be cleaned mechanically.
8. What is the recommended storage?
   Store the can upright in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Ideal temperature: +5°C to +25°C.
9. How long does the mousse keep?
   Generally 12 to 18 months in unopened original packaging.
10. Can this foam be used for structural applications?
    No, PU foam is not load-bearing. It is used for filling, insulation and sealing, but does not replace mechanical fastening.
