Features :

Applications:

• For interior bonding of all types of parquet flooring (mosaics, strips, ready-to-use and laminates, etc.), on all porous substrates such as concrete, cement, wood, HDF, etc.
• Not suitable for tropical species.
• Consumption 800 to 100g/m².

Instructions for use:

• Allow the glue to reach room temperature before use.
• Apply the glue to the support using a Soudal No. 3 fine-toothed spatula.
• Do not apply more glue to the substrate than the area of parquet flooring that can be laid within approximately 30 minutes.
• Lay the parquet flooring in the glue with a sliding motion and tap with a rubber mallet.
• Ensure good transfer of the glue onto the parquet floor (coverage of at least 80%).
• Consider weighing down the installed parquet flooring. If gluing a carpet to a wooden screed or intermediate floor, it should also be nailed down.
• After at least 48 hours, the parquet floor can be sanded and treated.
• In the case of a carpet that is glued and nailed, this must be done within a minimum period of 24 hours.

1. Is this glue compatible with underfloor heating?
   Yes, parquet 68A glue is compatible with underfloor heating provided that it is properly put into service and turned off before installation, in accordance with DTU rules.
2. Can it be used for solid wood flooring?
   Yes, 68A glue is perfectly suited to solid wood flooring, provided that the installation recommendations are followed (thickness, humidity, substrate).
3. Does the glue contain solvents?
   No, it is a solvent-free, water-based glue, ideal for indoor use.
4. What is the drying time before circulation?
   Light traffic is possible after 24 hours. Complete drying is achieved after several days depending on ambient conditions.
5. Can the glue be cleaned once it's dry?
   Fresh glue cleans easily with water. Once dry, removal is mechanical only.
6. What is the average consumption?
   On average, allow 1 to 1.3 kg/m², depending on the flatness of the surface and the spatula used.
7. Is it suitable for exotic woods?
   Yes, but for some very dense or oily exotic woods, it is recommended to carry out a preliminary test or consult Soudal's recommendations.
