Flexible lead sealing strip with a self-adhesive layer based on elastomeric bitumen.

• Particularly suitable for watertight and windproof sealing of joints, gaps and leaks on gutters, downpipes, chimneys, corrugated sheets, roofing elements, skylights, light domes, ridge tiles, etc., but also for crevices and cracks on all building materials.

Applications:

• Specially developed to seal inside and outside cracks and joints in gutters, downpipes, chimneys, corrugated sheets, roofing elements, glass domes, skylights, transoms etc. in many building materials, such as concrete, brick, lead, aluminum, glass, wood and plastics.

Instructions for use:

1. Remove the protective film evenly and then press firmly along the entire length to be covered.
2. Use a pressure roller if possible.
3. Avoid any creases during the operation (= possible air leak).
4. Avoid the presence of air bubbles between the tape and the substrate.
5. An overlap of at least 5 cm should be observed when joining two ribbons.
6. Cleaning product: Adhesive residues can be removed with Soudal Adhesive Remover-CT or Soudal Surface Cleaner.
7. Repair: With the same product.

   In most cases, no. However, on very porous or dusty surfaces, the use of a primer can improve adhesion.

   Yes, it can be easily cut using a utility knife or sturdy scissors.
5. Is it compatible with tiles and slates?
   Yes, its great flexibility allows it to perfectly conform to the contours of the tiles and slates, guaranteeing optimal waterproofing.
6. What is the lifespan of the product?
   Thanks to the quality of the lead and Soudal technology, the lifespan is very high, comparable to that of traditional roofing elements.
