Soudatherm Roof 170 is a one-component, solvent-free, moisture-reactive polyurethane adhesive for bonding insulating materials to roofs.
EC 1 PLUS label: very low VOC emissions .

Features :

• It remains elastic and does not become brittle.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I use Soudatherm Roof 170 to bond PIR/PUR panels?
   Yes, that's one of its main applications. The adhesive provides optimal adhesion to PIR/PUR and fills in irregularities.
2. Is the glue compatible with bituminous substrates?
   Yes, it adheres perfectly to sanded or APP bituminous membranes. Not recommended for very smooth or SBS-modified bituminous membranes without prior testing.
3. Can it be applied to a slightly damp surface?
   Yes, PU glue cures thanks to moisture. A slightly damp surface can even accelerate the setting time.
4. What is the wind resistance?
   Once hardened, the glue offers high mechanical resistance, suitable for areas exposed to wind (provided it is implemented correctly).
5. Can it replace a mechanical fastener?
   In many cases, yes. However, some systems require a combination of gluing and mechanical fixing according to local regulations (DTU, manufacturer's instructions).
6. How much time do I have to install the panels after application?
   Between 8 and 10 minutes depending on the temperature. After this time, the glue begins to form a skin.
7. Can it be used in cold weather?
   Yes, but performance is better above +5°C. Below 5°C, keep the spray cans warm before use.
8. Does the glue swell?
   Yes, that's normal for a PU adhesive. The expansion allows it to compensate for irregularities in the substrate.
9. What surfaces can I spray with adhesive?
   Between 6 and 10 m², depending on site conditions.
10. Is the glue water-resistant?
    Once polymerized, it is moisture resistant and perfectly suited for outdoor applications.
