Procolle cartuflex - Multi-purpose adhesive putty - Zep Industries

Rapid single-component putty based on a polymer hybrid with very high mechanical performance, intended for bonding and sealing many materials in buildings.
It adheres perfectly without priming to materials such as concrete, bricks, stones, marble, aluminum, epoxy coatings and PVC.

Properties :

• Does not alter cut stone, marble or granite.
• Very rapid polymerization: between 25 and 60 min dust free after application.
• Unique adhesion to most materials without the need for primer.
• Ready to use.
• It crosslinks at room temperature by the action of air humidity.
• Dries without shrinking, remains flexible, resists vibrations.
• Can be applied to porous and non-porous supports, on dry and damp surfaces.
• It does not contain solvents or isocyanates: it does not emit bad odors, either during application or after drying.
  Silicone-free.
  Does not stain the supports.
  Not bubbling.
• Resists temperatures from – 30°C to + 80°C, after application.
• UV stable, weather and aging resistant.
• Resists hydrocarbons, diluted acids and alkalis as well as salt or chlorinated water.

Applications:

Allows the creation of expansion joints in the building, joints at 1 or 2 floors in heavy or light prefabrication between large panels, joints between elements with low internal cohesion, tightening joints between joinery and the structural work.

Manual :

1. The product is deposited by extrusion of beads in sufficient quantity between the materials to be sealed or bonded.
2. Apply to degreased, clean, dry surfaces free of friable parts using a manual or pneumatic gun, preferably on an open cell joint base to limit the depth of the joint, then smooth the fresh putty with the using a spatula.
   => Joint width, joint depth (see table below).
3. Make joints of at least 5 mm.
4. In the case of cracks, they must be opened at least 5 mm in a V or U shape.
5. To clean the putty in its fresh state, use Dilu 464 with a cloth.
   Please note: once polymerized, the sealant can only be removed mechanically.
6. Used with our professional spray gun.

Conditioning :

290 ml cartridge: Black, Gray and White.
