Cement-fort Plus - Tile adhesive - PTB Compaktuna

Cement-fort Plus is a dry powder , to which you simply add water to obtain a ready-to-use mortar .

Features :

• After seven days of setting, the adhesion of this mortar is five to six times greater than that of a traditional mortar.
  While ensuring absolute security regarding adhesion, CIMENT-FORT PLUS is extraordinarily easy to implement.
• Allows for quick installation with maximum efficiency.
• Allows you to glue materials such as earthenware, ceramics, mosaics onto surfaces such as concrete, masonry, cement, and cellular concrete, in both exterior and interior work.

Instructions for use:

1. Work only on a sound, clean surface, free from dust and traces of oil or grease, and which is no longer susceptible to deformation (due to shrinkage, for example).
2. The CEMENT-FORT PLUS must be mixed with approximately 23% water, i.e. ± 5.75 L on 25 kg of product.
3. After careful mixing, the resulting glue should be left to rest for 5 to 15 minutes.
4. Then it is stirred intensely once more.
   From this point on, the mortar is ready for use.
5. Start by applying a thin layer, using a trowel or a notched spatula.
6. Press this layer firmly onto the support.
7. Apply immediately afterwards a second coat, which is divided into regular grooves using a notched spatula (4 to 10 mm notched spatula).
8. Next, place the tiles with a small rotating motion and press firmly.
   The setting time on the layer put in place depends on the working conditions and the condition of the substrate.
9. The grouting ( HY JOINT , HY PREMIUM JOINT or WIDE JOINT ) is only carried out when the adhesive is sufficiently resistant (wait at least 24 hours, depending on the temperature and atmospheric humidity).

1. Is Cement-fort Plus suitable for outdoor use?
   Yes, it is perfectly suited for outdoor applications, provided the substrate is stable, frost-resistant and properly prepared.
2. Can it be used in a bathroom or shower?
   Yes, its resistance to humidity makes it ideal for damp premises (except for specific sealing systems which require a complementary product).
3. Is it suitable for porcelain stoneware?
   Yes, porcelain stoneware is compatible. For very large format tiles, double gluing is recommended.
4. Can natural stone be glued?
   Yes, on stable natural stone. For light-colored or moisture-sensitive stones, it is advisable to carry out a preliminary test.
5. What is the time before grouting?
   In general, grouting is possible after 24 hours, depending on temperature, substrate and adhesive thickness.
6. Is a primer necessary?
   On highly absorbent or dusty surfaces, the use of a suitable primer improves adhesion and evenness of setting.
