Special linoleum stripper, safe for use on linoleum, made with linen and natural dyes . PolTech Lino Stripper can also be used as a spray to clean and re-spread emulsion films soiled and/or damaged by traffic.

Applications:

Instructions for use:

Stripping of natural linoleum flooring:

1. Yield: 50m²/L of product.
2. Soak the surface using the 10% solution, scrub the linoleum using a low-speed single-disc machine and a green pad.
3. Vacuum, rinse the surface with clean water.

Cleaning of thermoplastic and linoleum floors using the spray method:

1. Yield: 100 to 150m²/L of product, spray the pure product, at a rate of 2 sprays per m² worked.
2. Use a high-speed single-disc scrubber and a blue pad.
3. To increase shine, polish the cleaned surface using a very high-speed single-disc machine and a white pad.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can the Lino Stripper be used on all types of flooring?
   No, it is designed exclusively for linoleum. Using it on PVC, vinyl, or rubber may cause damage or discoloration.
2. Do I need to rinse after use?
   The product is formulated for acid-free stripping, but a quick rinse with clean water is recommended to remove residues and ensure good adhesion of the new protection.
3. Does the product damage linoleum?
   No, on the contrary: its formulation respects the pH level suitable for linoleum and prevents burning or deformation of the flooring. It does not contain any harsh agents unsuitable for linoleum.
4. Can I use it with a single-disc floor machine?
   Yes, the Lino Stripper is fully compatible with a single-disc machine to improve mechanical action and reduce stripping time.
5. How many layers of metallization can it remove?
   Generally, it allows the removal of 2 to 4 layers in a single operation. For very old or heavily saturated soils, a second pass may be necessary.
6. What protective equipment is recommended?
   Gloves, goggles, non-slip shoes, ventilation of the area in case of prolonged work.
7. Does the product have a strong odor?
   No, it has a light odor, which makes it suitable for busy places like schools or offices.
8. Is it safe to walk on the ground immediately after application?
   No. It must be allowed to dry completely before applying the new protective coating and before reopening the area to the public.
9. Is there a protective product to use after stripping?
   Yes, Pollet recommends then applying a protective emulsion (such as PolTech Floor Finish or equivalent) to restore shine and provide lasting protection for the linoleum.
