Areas of application

  1. Clogging of pores, gravel nests and micro-defects in concrete.
  2. Leveling of uneven surfaces.
  3. Finishing before application of a protective coating (paint, plaster, anti-carbonation protection).
  4. Non-structural concrete repair.
  5. Reinforced or unreinforced concrete structures: Facades, walls, shear walls, prefabricated elements, civil engineering works.

Consumption

~1.7 kg/m2/mm.
Note: This consumption is theoretical and does not take into account overconsumption depending on absorption, roughness and flatness of the substrates, nor product loss, and other variations.
Test the product to calculate the exact consumption for the specific support conditions and the equipment that will be used.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Can Sika MonoTop®-3020 be used outdoors?
Yes, it is perfectly suited for outdoor applications and is weather-resistant once cured.
  2. What is the difference between an R3 and an R4 mortar?
An R3 mortar is intended for non-structural repairs, while an R4 mortar is used for structural repairs requiring higher mechanical strengths.
  3. Can Sika MonoTop®-3020 be painted?
Yes, after complete hardening, it can be coated with compatible paints or protective systems (including Sika solutions).
  4. Is it possible to apply multiple layers?
Yes, provided that the recommended thicknesses are respected and the previous layer is allowed to set if necessary.
  5. On what surfaces does the product adhere?
On sound concrete, reinforced concrete, and compatible cement-based mortars. Not intended for flexible or non-mineral substrates.
