AluCover Light and Light-Low covers are lightweight covers used in applications both inside and outside the building .

The AluCover Light-Low (also known as Aco Ready ) has a reduced height design which is particularly suitable for renovation work .

Tileable access covers, also known as inspection hatches , are made of aluminum alloy . Their material , construction, and design meet the most stringent requirements . The joints are not welded, but crimped around the entire perimeter of the cover . This unique technique ensures a more robust structure and a more aesthetically pleasing finish .

Special lifting keys allow the cover to be removed quickly and effortlessly year after year.

The AluCover Light and Light Low tileable covers have been inspected and tested by a testing and research institute with a test load of 15 kN (class A) for a minimum concrete infill of 60 mm. If required, reinforcing mesh can be integrated to achieve a higher resistance class.

Installation and usage instructions for tileable frames:

Investment:

1. Tileable frames must be installed in the closed position, i.e. the cover must be fitted into the frame.
2. Under no circumstances can the frame be recessed without the lid being fitted into place.
3. The tile frame must be placed perfectly level on a bed of mortar, meaning the tile surface must be flush with the top surface of the frame. The frame must not protrude above floor level.
4. During the operation of filling the cover with concrete or screed, the thickness of the floor finishing material (tiles, terrazzo, PVC, carpet, parquet, etc.) must be taken into account.
5. Note: The strength of the frame depends on the quality of the filling material!
6. If the cover is to be installed in asphalt or magnesium-based products, the expansion of these materials must be taken into account.
7. After grouting (during the cleaning of the tiled surface), the cover must be detached from the frame to allow for the removal of any remaining debris, and to check if the joint is still correctly positioned.
8. Reinsert the lid into the frame and screw everything together.

Open and close:

1. Remove the plastic caps with a screwdriver.
2. Unscrew the Allen head bolts using the wrench provided.
3. Screw the supplied handles in as far as possible and lift the lid.

Note: It is recommended to open each tileable frame once a year and grease the inside face of the frame.
