Calcitec 2000 (White) - For building materials - Carmeuse

Crushed limestone with a high calcium carbonate content.
The use of Calcitec® in the mixture allows to obtain high-performance and durable roofing membranes and shingles . It is also the best solution for all types of ready-mix concrete and precast concrete . It is recommended to use it in architectural concrete , minimizing the use of colorants.

Properties & applications:

• Calcitec® is used as a skeleton in a mixture of bitumen and asphalt to give weight to the mixture.
• It is compatible with pure and oxidized bitumen, as well as with SBS modified bitumen.
• Calcitec® is used in mixes for flooring solutions to create weight and stability.
• Thanks to its consistent whiteness, absorption and fineness, it contributes to more efficient performance in your process.
• Calcitec® can partially replace cement in the mix, once certified according to the concept of equivalent performance of concrete, in accordance with the European concrete standard EN 206.
