FS Formula 3685 - Low-foaming acid cleaner - Zep Industries

Concentrated low-foaming liquid acid cleaner. Effectively eliminates limescale deposits in circuits and submerged surfaces.
Does not produce irritating or corrosive vapors . Ideal for applications in circuits since the formula does not produce foam .

Applications:

Very suitable for the removal of lime and protein deposits in food processing companies, such as canneries, dairy factories, bakeries, fishmongers, meat and poultry processing companies, etc.

Manual :

For the elimination of lime and protein deposits on production equipment:

1. Use one part product to 5 parts water.
2. Apply the solution.
3. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes.
4. Scrub the surface using a brush.
5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Restore the shine of galvanized, aluminum or stainless steel surfaces:

1. Use one part product to 3 to 5 parts water.
2. Apply the solution.
3. Leave to act and brush until you obtain the desired level of shine.
4. Rinse thoroughly with water.
5. On very dull surfaces, repeat the operation if necessary.

Dishwasher :

1. Add 4 liters of product to the water in the machine and leave it running until the limescale deposits are eliminated.
2. Drain the machine and refill it with clean water.
3. Leave the machine running for 5 minutes, then drain the water.
4. Repeat the procedure until the deposits are completely removed.

Glasses and synthetic materials:

1. To remove limescale deposits from glass and synthetic materials, use a solution of one part product to 40 parts hot water.
2. Rinse until deposits are removed.
3. Rinse thoroughly with hot water, then dry.

Elimination of deposits using the CIP process:

1. Flush the system using cold water.
2. Mix the product in a ratio of 1:5 to 1:10 in water.
3. Allow the solution to circulate for 20 minutes to 1 hour.
4. Drain the solution.
5. Rinse carefully.
6. Do not allow the solution to dry on the surface.
