Colorless and high-performance protection of all woods.
WoodGuard Professional is a next-generation product for the protection of raw or renovated wood. It penetrates deep into all the fibres of the wood to make it completely impervious to water, grease and stains.

WoodGuard Professional protects wood, strengthens its durability and facilitates its maintenance. Totally colorless after application, it does not distort the structure and natural appearance of wood (veining, fibers...). In addition, it is a non-filmogenic product that allows the wood to breathe: it does not flake, blister or yellow.

Note: The greying of the wood is a natural phenomenon that can only be delayed by WoodGuard® Professional.

Use:

• All types of raw wood: pine, spruce, douglas, larch, autoclave wood
• Floors and facades
• New or old

Preparing support:

• New wood: apply the product to clean, dusted, healthy and dry wood.
• Grey or greasy wood: clean with WoodGuard Conditioner, rinse thoroughly, dust and dry wood.
• Damaged wood: sand to re-bare, then dust and dry the wood.
• Always prepare the wood according to the DTUs in force.
• Ensure that the support has all the guarantees of good durability.

Application:

• Use the product in its purest form: do not dilute. Shake the packaging well before use.
• Do not apply in rainy or very hot weather. Ideal air and support temperature 5 to 30 degrees Celsius.
• Pre-test on a small, low-visible surface and allow to dry for 24 hours, especially on oily and exotic wood. Check the efficiency by wetting the support.
• Apply in the direction of the wood fibres and if possible on all visible faces.
• The support should be impregnated in 2 layers "wet on wet" at saturation.
• Do not overload, remove any excess from the cloth.
• Protect from rain for 24 hours and greasy dirt for at least 48 hours.
• Optimal efficiency obtained after 5 to 7 days.

Apply to spalter or roll.

Consumption:

145 to 170 g/m2 for two layers.
