Knauf Fix stone is a flexible anchor bridge based on cement , special aggregates and synthetic resins .

• It contains adjuvants and additives improving its mechanical and processing properties .
• It is hydraulic hardening.
• It is not permeable to water.
• Low in chromate in accordance with European Directive 2003/53/EC.

Application domain :

The Knauf fix stone adhesion bridge is mainly used as a whitewash to improve the adhesion of paving stones, concrete slabs or natural stones insensitive to staining on mineral supports (eg: Knauf Drain Chape, Knauf Stabilized, etc.).

It can be used as a hanging bridge under pavers exposed to regular water spray (eg around swimming pools).
Also suitable as a bonding coat on cement-based substrates to create adherent cement screeds. (e.g. Knauf Cope,…)

Remarks :

The paved surface with the Knauf fix stone hanging bridge is accessible to pedestrians after min. 5 hours.

1. Do not remix with water the product which has started to set.
2. To apply the product, the ambient and surface temperature must be between +5°C and +30°C.
3. The grouting of the pavement laid with Knauf fix stone will be carried out between 36 and 48 hours after the laying of the slabs or stones.
4. Always carry out a test beforehand on a small surface.
5. Protect the product during setting from direct sunlight, drafts, frost and excessively high (>+30°C) or too low (<+5°C) temperatures from excessively rapid drying and frost .
6. Clean tools, containers, etc. immediately with water.
   In the solid state, only mechanical cleaning is possible.
7. The technical data apply at a temperature of +20°C and a relative air humidity of 50%.
   Lower temperatures increase the indicated values, higher temperatures decrease them.
8. Disposal of waste The remains of hardened products will be disposed of as site waste, in accordance with the local regulations in force.

Consumption :

The consumption depends on the nature of the support, the handling, the tool and the type of paving stone to be laid.

Average consumption: around 1.5 kg/m²
