Knauf drain screed is a dry , mineral mortar prepared in the factory.

• Material based on special cements , trass , fillers and specific additives to improve the properties of implementation and mechanical resistance.
• It is hydraulic hardening and contains resin.

Application domain :

Knauf drain screed is used to make draining screeds or draining mineral laying mortars.
Applied in a thick bed, it allows the water-permeable laying of pavers or slabs in concrete and natural stone that are insensitive to discoloration.
Particularly suitable for private applications such as garden paths, terraces and entrances.

It can be used under certain conditions in the public domain, for pedestrian and cycle paths, squares and paths.
It is not suitable for areas subject to road traffic.

Remarks :

1. The paved surface with the Knauf FixStone hanging bridge is accessible to pedestrians after min. 5 hours
2. Protect the Knauf Drain Screed throughout its setting from direct sunlight, draughts, driving rain, frost and excessively high (>30°C) or too low (<5°C) temperatures.
   The technical data apply at a temperature of +20°C and a relative air humidity of 50%.
   Lower temperatures increase the indicated values, higher temperatures decrease them.
3. To apply the product, the ambient and surface temperature must be between +5°C and +30°C.
4. Do not mix with water once the product has hardened.
5. Clean tools, containers, etc. immediately with water.
   In the solid state, only mechanical cleaning is possible.
6. Carry out a test on a small surface
7. The grouting of the pavement laid with Knauf FixStone will be carried out between 36 and 48 hours after the laying of the slabs or stones.

About 20 kg/m² per cm of layer thickness.
