Cerapoxy - Grout for Ceramic Tiles - Knauf

Knauf CeraPoxy is a two-component sealant based on epoxy resin .
Water- repellent and mold- repellent grouting paste for joints up to 5 mm wide

Application domain :

Knauf CeraPoxy can be used for grouting all types of ceramic tiles, thin slabs, glass paste mosaics, marble and natural stones on floors and walls both indoors and outdoors. .
Due to the different "wood imitation" colors available, it is particularly suitable for grouting parquet imitation tiles.

It can be used in premises for private use but also in shops or highly stressed areas (industrial environment, heavy traffic or surfaces subject to occasional contact with chemical substances).
The water resistance is sufficient to allow its application on walls in public showers, swimming pools and basins.

Properties and advantages:

• Two-component epoxy-based grouting paste.
• Knauf Cerapoxy has high chemical and mechanical resistance, high hardness and is waterproof.
  The product is thus resistant to vibrations and deformations of the building materials.
  Thanks to these properties, the product is particularly suitable for grouting wall coverings and coverings on flexible substrates (OSB-type panels, wood chipboard, showroom panels, etc.).
  For joints from 1 to 5 mm.
• Knauf Cerapoxy is easy to apply provided the product preparation and application instructions are followed.
• After drying, the color of Knauf Cerapoxy is uniform and its surface smooth. It resists water and mold formation.

Remarks :

• High temperatures (> 20°C) lead to excessive fluidity of the mixture and faster hardening. On the contrary, low temperatures make the product more difficult to spread and slow down the setting.
• Do not lay on floors subject to rising residual humidity or not completely dry.
• The color badge on the packaging is given as an indication and may differ somewhat from the final color of the product.
• In order to avoid color differences, it is recommended to place a single order for the entire project so as to make all the joints with material from one and the same production.
• Do not use for joints with a width > 5 mm, nor for filling movement, fractionation or expansion joints.
• Use packaging stored at +20°C for 2 or 3 days before use

Knauf CeraPoxy is available in 3 kg tubs.
