Lfoam 18 is a peripheral strip for screeds intended for acoustic and/or thermal underlays in the insulit range.

It is placed at right angles to the junction between the underlay and the wall in order to prevent any lateral contact of the screed.

Lfoam 18 bends perfectly at a right angle thanks to the pyramidal structure facilitating its implementation.

Half of its width is self- adhesive so that the horizontal part adheres perfectly to the underlay . The vertical part does not stick to the wall and is easily removed once the final flooring has been laid.

Installation principle:

1. Glue the Lfoam 18 on the underlay and go up the non-adhesive part along the walls.

2. Seal the Lfoam before pouring the screed.

3. Cut the excess Lfoam 18 once the final floor has been laid.

4. Fix the plinth a few millimeters above the final floor and make a flexible joint.

This self- adhesive acoustic and thermal peripheral strip is used with:

• insulin Bi+8 .
• insulin Bi+9 .
• insulin Bi+20 .
• insultTop 15 .
