Composil - Pre-coloured silicone - Akemi

Composil is a one-component sealant whose recipe is specially designed for the extension and connection joints of Engineered Stone.
The Composil colors coincide with the Akemi 2-component Color Bond in cartridge allowing the permanent bonding of composite stones.

Special silicones in more than 50 colors for all types of Engineered Stone in commercial use.
Color assignment tables (colour charts) for cast stones from all well-known manufacturers (e.g. Silestone, Caesarstone, Zodiaq, Technistone, Quarella, Cambria, Okite, Compac, Diresco, Hanstone etc.) can be found under www.akemi.com/ColourCharts

Use :

1. Contact surfaces must be dry, clean, free of grease and dust.
   Cleaning with AKEMI Nettoyant A on natural stone, quartz composite, large ceramics, tiles, glass, unvarnished wood and metal. Cleaning with AKEMI Nettoyant I on plastics and painted surfaces.
2. Use AKEMI Joint cords to avoid the adhesion of 3 sides and for deeper joints. For any application in damp rooms and outdoors, use sealing beads with closed pores in polyethylene, otherwise sealing beads with open pores in polyurethane. Size of joints min. 3x5mm.
3. Mask the surfaces in the joint edge area with AKEMI Special Adhesive Tape.
4. In case of use in wet areas and outdoors as well as on special surfaces, we recommend painting the sides of the joints with AKEMI primers (see Primer table).
5. Working temperature from +5°C to +40°C.
6. Apply the product and smooth it out within 10-15 minutes.
   AKEMI Smoothing Palette and AKEMI Smoothing Product provide optimal smoothing.
7. Remove the special tape in the direction of the joint before the skin is formed.
8. The hardening depends on the thickness of the layer, the temperature and the relative humidity of the area and amounts to approx. 1 - 3 mm per 24 hours.
9. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI Nettoyant A.
