Self-leveling cement -based leveling compound with very low VOC emissions, for indoor and outdoor application.
Sikafloor-200 Level is a multifunctional levelling compound characterised by particularly low shrinkage and high thickness.
Suitable for medium use.
EC 1 PLUS label: very low VOC emissions .

Areas of application

Sikafloor-200 Level is suitable for smoothing, levelling and levelling suitable substrates before laying parquet, ceramic tiles, seamless synthetic resin floor coverings, textile or elastic floor coverings, both indoors and outdoors in residential and non-industrial buildings.

Application

1. Spread the mixed Sikafloor-200 Level using suitable tools (trowel or notched scraper, or adjustable scraper with handle) and remove air occlusions with a de-bubbler roller.
2. Peripheral joints and expansion joints must be considered up to the finished surface.
   Avoid introducing equalizing mass.
3. The leveling layer must be sufficiently thick and the surface sufficiently flat, as indicated by the manufacturer of the tiles or floor covering.
4. In case of thicker layers, avoid contact with vertical structures by placing an insulation strip on the perimeter.
5. If a second levelling coat is to be applied, the first coat must be primed with Sikafloor-03 Primer or with Sikafloor-01 Primer (1:1).
   The maximum layer thickness cannot be exceeded when applying in two layers.
   The second layer cannot exceed the layer thickness of the first.
6. Avoid contact with metal, such as water pipes (e.g. by insulating the penetrations of the latter) because galvanised steel pipes in particular are not adequately protected against corrosion.
7. Protect Sikafloor-200 Level levelling layers from high ambient temperatures, direct sunlight and drafts (curing treatment).
