SikaTop Armatec -110 EpoCem is a cement-bound product improved by the addition of epoxy resin , 3-component, with corrosion inhibitors , used as an adhesion grout and as anti-corrosion protection for reinforcing bars.

Application areas

• Suitable for checking anodic areas (Principle 11, method 11.1 of standard EN 1504-9).
• Suitable for repairing concrete as protection against corrosion of reinforcement.
• Suitable as an adhesion primer on concrete and mortar.

Application

1. It is possible to mix SikaTop Armatec -110 EpoCem using a low speed electric mixer (< 250 rpm).
2. Shake components A and B thoroughly before opening.
3. Pour liquid components A+B into a suitable mixing container and mix for 30 seconds.
4. While mixing components A+B, gradually add component C.
5. Mix the three components together for at least 3 minutes, avoiding air entrapment.
6. Allow to stand for 5-10 minutes until the mixed coating material has a brushable, slightly oozing consistency.
7. Do not add water!

Appearance / Color

Dark gray after mixing

• Component A: white liquid
• Component B: colorless liquid
• Component C: dark gray powder

Consumption

As a coating for corrosion protection of reinforcement:
~ 2 kg per m² per layer (about 1 mm thick)
In total, minimum 2 layers (2 mm thick)

As adhesion bridge, support:
> 1.5 to 2 kg per m²/mm depending on the condition of the substrate

Conditioning

20 kg pre-dosed kit: A (1.14 kg) + B (2.86 kg) + C (16 kg)
