Sika MonoTop-112 MultiUse Repair is a single-component, thixotropic, ready-to-use mortar , composed of a hydraulic binder and selected aggregates, containing synthetic microfibers and intended for the repair of concrete structures.

Features :

Application areas :

• Restoration and repair of concrete elements (columns, edges of balconies).
• Resurfacing of deteriorated areas of vertical or horizontal concrete surfaces.
• Reprofiling of concrete surfaces.

Application

1. Thoroughly moisten the prepared substrate long enough before application.
2. Keep the surface moist and avoid its total drying.
3. Before application, remove standing water, for example with a clean sponge.
   Substrate should have a dark, shimmer-free matte appearance, and pores and cavities will not contain water.
4. For small restoration works, such as the repair of concrete structures, the visible faces of balconies or the side faces of columns, etc.
5. Sika MonoTop-112 MultiUse Repair can be applied with a trowel.
6. First apply a scratch coat by scraping off the repair mortar in a thin layer and ensuring sufficient pressure.
7. Then apply several coats to the substrate, ensuring sufficient pressure and compaction.
8. The use of a sponge trowel guarantees a satisfactory quality finish.
9. Treat the surface a few minutes after applying the mortar, from the start of the hardening process.

Consumption

The consumption depends on the roughness of the support and the thickness of the applied. As a general rule: ~ 18 kg/m2 per cm of thickness.

Yield

5 kg of powder gives approximately 2.83 liters of mortar.
