ImperGuard CP - Anti-chloride and anti-corrosion water repellent - Guard Industrie

Preventive and curative treatment of old concretes against infiltration, chlorides, carbonation and corrosion of frames.
ImperGuard CP is a ready-to-use product specially developed to waterproof and reduce corrosion of existing concrete frames.

Healing: It stops existing corrosion of the frames (within a corrosion rate of 5 microns/cm2). The rate of corrosion can vary depending on the humidity, the amount of chlorides...

Preventive: The frames in contact with moisture and chlorides (de-icing salts...) oxidize, causing an increase in volume that causes the concrete to burst and weakens the mechanical resistance of the affected elements. Unlike the corrosion inhibitors on the market, ImperGuard CP penetrates very deep into concrete, up to 6 cm thick, thus blocking moisture and chlorides. ImperGuard CP also protects 0.3 mm in case of micro-cracks.

Preparing support:

• The surface must be dry, clean and free of any trace of oil, grease, cure product, dust, efflorescence, paint and any other substance that could compromise the proper penetration of the product.

Application:

• Use the product in its purest form: do not dilute.
• Shake the packaging well before use and do a pre-test.
• Apply ImperGuard CP to the entire surface to be protected, including repaired areas.
• Apply in 2 to 3 layers until the support is saturated depending on exposure to bad weather and aggression. In exceptional cases (tides, marine environment,...) the application must be carried out in 3 to 6 layers.
• Keep a minimum of 15 minutes between each layer, the surface should be visually dry.
• When applying to the sprayer, ensure that there is no fog formation.
• Drying: 24 to 72 hours.
• Time before optimal efficiency, recovery by a minimum coating 15 days.

Application tools:

Apply to Viton low-pressure seal sprayer or airless sprayer.

Consumption:

180 to 230 g/m2 per layer.
