Hydrophobic impregnation based on water-repellent siliconate compounds. The product is solvent-free, odorless and universally usable.

The appearance of discoloration is extremely limited, it is easily, quickly and safely treated.

Lithofin Protection W is resistant to residual moisture, penetrates well into porous surfaces and makes mineral surfaces water repellent when dried. The water and the pollutants it contains are no longer absorbed, but trickle down from the surface.

Thus, the surfaces remain clean longer, are less sensitive to dirt and easier to maintain. the water vapor diffusion capacity remains unchanged.

The appearance of the treated coating is not modified or only insignificantly. The product is UV and yellowing resistant.

Application domain :

Protection W can be used both indoors and outdoors for the dirt-repellent and water-repellent equipment of absorbent coatings and facades made of natural stone such as granite and limestone, sandstone as well as for brick, clay and clinker panels, concrete blocks, washed concrete, etc.

Please note: not suitable for polished limestone or fresh concrete (blocks).

Note: for stain-sensitive coatings, we recommend Lithofin VLECKSTOP W . This product makes surfaces water and oil repellent and protects them from stains.

Manual :

The support must be absorbent, clean and dry.

Application utensils: brush, plaster roller brush, sprayer. Do a preliminary test.

1. Apply the product evenly and let it penetrate. Treat large areas in sections.
2. In the case of a very absorbent support, apply wet on wet if necessary.
3. Spread drips and puddles, remove excess after 10 min.
4. Keep treated surfaces away from water (rain) for 8 hours.

Attention: non-absorbent surfaces such as enamelled or wet surfaces cannot be impregnated. Do not treat in direct sunlight or at temperatures above 25°.

Protect glass, varnishes, plastics, lacquers and other similar sensitive surfaces from spraying.

Yield:

• Sawn sandstone: approx. 3 m²/L
• Clinker: 5 to 8 m²/L
• Granite and concrete blocks: 10 to 15 m²/L depending on the surface.
