KF Sil-net - Acid and solvent cleaner to dissolve silicone - Lithofin

Lithofin KF Sil-Net is a special product based on acids and organic solvents.

It dissolves almost all types of silicone, thus allowing the replacement of the joint.

Facilitates the removal of silicone residues. The viscous consistency also allows for longer exposure times.

Application domain :

Lithofin KF Sil-Net is suitable for cleaning silicone stains and removing old silicone sealants.

Can be used on all solvent and acid resistant materials such as ceramic tile, porcelain, enamel, glass, acrylic, etc.

Warning: not suitable for natural or artificial stone, certain plastics, paints, varnishes, colored cement joints, wood, aluminium, etc. Protect surrounding seals.

Manual :

1. Cut joints, scrape off residue as much as possible.
2. Shake can before use.
3. Apply with a brush a layer of 2 mm on the residues or stains and smooth.
4. Leave to act for approximately 1 hour depending on the material and up to 8 hours for stubborn residues.
5. Remove the softened silicone with a spatula and clean with a sponge.
6. Finish the job by rubbing with alcohol or acetone.
7. In the case of a very resistant joint, repeat the operation with a longer time.
