PRO RSG - High performance anti-slip - Lithofin

Lithofin RSG is a fluoritic product which makes it possible to roughen the surface of ceramics and natural stone.

Lithofin RSG reacts primarily with siliceous bonds.

Small microscopic cavities are thus created in the surface.

This leads to higher slip resistance and improves non-slip properties.

Application domain :

For non-slip equipment of polished or smooth ceramic surfaces, such as porcelain stoneware, and natural stone such as granite, gneiss and hard stone.

In this way, the requirements of BGR 181 (R 9) can be met.

Special note: the consequences of the treatment lead to a loss of gloss, which leads to changes in the appearance of the surface (from faintly to clearly visible). Roughening the surface can lead to high sensitivity to dirt.

Manual :

1. The application of a test surface is in principle necessary. A soaking time of at least 20 minutes is recommended.
2. It may prove necessary to adapt a diluting agent to this value. Absorbent surfaces should be pre-moistened.
3. Apply Lithofin RSG evenly with a sponge and keep the surface wet throughout the treatment.
4. After impregnation, add water, brush if necessary, then vacuum.
5. Neutralize and rinse large areas with Lithofin ASR base product.
6. In some cases, a second treatment is necessary.

Attention: to create a homogeneous roughness effect, it is important that Lithofin RSG is applied evenly. In case of premature drying, it is imperative to re-wet with water.

Note: glass, ceramics, porcelain, enamel, polished stones, metals etc. are attacked. For this reason, protect sensitive areas.
