SealTape-F - Crack bridging sealing tape - Sika

Sika SealTape F is an elastic component of a system, where it is mounted in Sika sealing products for a waterproof bridging of areas at risk of cracks , such as the interior and exterior angles of walls , the wall / floor connections , the pipe passages, etc.

Application domain

Crack-bridging sealing tape to be embedded in Sika sealants in:

• Heavy-duty commercial wet rooms and private wet rooms.

• Swimming pools and water basins in combination with ceramic tiles.

Application

1. Sika SealTape F is attached to the substrate by drowning it in a Sika sealant freshly applied to the substrate, using a spatula or trowel.
2. In order to be able to absorb larger movements, form a loop with the tape.
3. The connections of the Sika SealTape F strips must overhang by at least 5 cm.
4. The embedded Sika SealTape F should then be covered with a second coat of the sealant.
5. Use Sika SealTape F wall flashing only for mounted pipes and ensure that a minimum of 4 mm of the stretchable part touches the pipe.
6. Sika SealTape F floor flashing should be cut into the desired shape with scissors or a knife.
7. Sika SealTape-F is not suitable for direct contact with sealants or glues containing solvents.

Sizes

SealTape-F Tape: 120mm x 25m roll tape or 120mm x 10m roll.

SealTape-F Outside Corner: preformed corners for outside corner.

SealTape-F Inside Corner: preformed corners for inside corner.

SealTape-F Wall patch: wall flashing for the passage of pipes, with Ø 14 mm.
