SikaFlex-515 - Joint Sealant - Sika

Sikaflex-515 is a single-component hybrid PU sealant based on silane-terminated polymers (STP, Sika technology).
It polymerizes under the action of ambient humidity to form a durable elastomer.

Application areas

Sikaflex-515 is a universal joint filler suitable for the majority of jointing applications in automotive production.
The product has good grouting properties for exterior and interior application.
It has good adhesion to all materials used in automotive production, such as metals, ABS, PC, FRP and wood.

Application

1. Surfaces must be clean, sound, dry, grease-free and dust-free.
2. Do not apply at temperatures below + 5°C or above 40°C.
   The optimal temperature of substrates and glue is between +15°C and +25°C.
3. The smoothing of the joints must be carried out before the product has formed its skin.
4. Any other smoothing agent should be tested first to assess compatibility.
