The latest addition to the Buzon adventure, the PB plot is everyone's friend.

Adjustable from 18 to 955 mm, this polypropylene stud is perfectly suited for the realization of private spaces.

Its ergonomics make the PB stud easy to adjust and allows a quick and reliable implementation. The enlarged surface of the head of the polypropylene PB stud is specially adapted for the installation of high-thickness ceramic slabs.

The different formats of fins make it possible to choose the spacing between the slabs, while the lambourde support facilitates and reinforces the construction of wooden decks.

A slope corrector positioned under its base, allows to control the correction or the creation of a slope up to 5%.

LAYING ON STUDS

Making a terrace in a conventional way is not always easy. Expansion of joints, difficulty in evacuating water, control of slopes...

COMPOSITION OF THE STUD PB BUZON

1. PB-4-TOP stud head  (PB-3-TOP for PB5)

The stud head screws directly into the base or into the booster sleeves to meet additional height requirements. This extra wide head has been specially developed for the installation of thick sandstone-porcelain tiles.

Different accessories are attached to the head of the stud to respond to the problems encountered on construction sites.

Safety system The studs of the PB range are equipped with a screw removal safety system thus preventing each element from detaching from the maximum height reached

2. Booster sleeves. (PB-C1 from +- 85 mm to 120 mm - PB-C2 from +- 195 mm to 235 mm)

The PB booster sleeves are interspersed by screwing between the base and the head of the stud to make the "high height" studs of the PB range.

The booster sleeves allow a height of up to 955 mm and are equipped with the safety system.

3. Base of the stud (PB-4-BASE)

The base can be simply laid or fixed on any type of compatible support.

Side reinforcements reinforce the stability of the stud.

HEADS and ACCESSORIES OF BUZON PB STUDS

A wide range of accessories completes the range of PB studs to facilitate the realization of the terrace.

Whatever the configuration of the project, BUZON offers easy and reliable solutions to the various problems encountered on construction sites

Fins (PB-TABS-2 or 3 or 4.5 or 6 or 8 or 10 mm)

The PB-TABS fins, with a height of 17 mm, are available in different thicknesses: 2 mm, 3 mm, 4.5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm.

They guarantee a uniform alignment of the slabs placed on the head of the Buzon stud and remain detachable to adapt the installation configuration (alternating T, terrace edge in I,...)

Support Lambourde Maximum 10 cm (PB-KIT5)

The PB-KIT-5 lambourde holder is attached using our plug-in system to the head of the Buzon® studs of the PB range. 

It firmly holds in place the lambourde (minimum height 3 cm) supporting the terrace blades.

Equalizers (U-E10 or U-E20)

The equalizer is a 1 or 2 mm clover-shaped wedge.

It stabilizes the pavement, provides additional acoustic comfort and compensates for variations in the thickness of the slabs.

Slope corrector. (U-PH5)

In order to control the slopes during the realization of the terrace, we advise the use of a slope corrector U-PH5.

This adjustable tray is placed under the base of the stud and guarantees a perfect control of the slopes. It creates a counter-slope of 0 to 5% in intervals of 0.5%, which facilitates the installation of a horizontal or inclined terrace.

Protective mattress (U-PAD 3 or 6 or 10 mm)

The U-PAD protective mattress is made of recycled and rot-proof rubber. 200x200mm or 200x100mm or 90x60mm.

It is placed under the stud and provides additional acoustic comfort.

It also protects the support if it is subject to punching.

Wall edge retractor (U-WALL)

U-WALL creates a space of 5 mm between the slabs and the wall, which promotes the flow of water and perpetuates the terrace in case of heavy rain, snowfall ...

It is placed on the head of the PB stud.

Thanks to the flexible fins, the U-WALL support adapts to all types of walls: angular, curved, etc. This makes its application easier and more efficient. The fins detach to adapt to all types of layout.

U-WALL can be fixed to the studs using screws which keeps the slabs in place. It is also adjustable on the head of the stud to create the optimal gap.

For more stability, BUZON recommends the use of the U-WALL bracket with the equalizer U-E10 -WALL (1 mm thick) or U-E20 -WALL (2mm). It guarantees more stability to the slab.

Fixing of terrace edge. (PB-SNE)

The PB-END finishing kit supports the peripheral slabs to dress up the space created under the terrace installed on PB studs.

Two hooks located on the head and base of the stud hold in place the 20 mm thick vertical slab cuts to ensure a solid and homogeneous finish.

Support for terrace edge slabs. (U-EDGE)

U-EDGE is an adaptable support that attaches to the studs of the PB range. It facilitates the finishing of the terrace at the edge of the wall thanks to a simple and fast implementation. It can be used with all types of layout and all forms of slabs

U-EDGE makes it possible to create a space between the slabs and the wall which promotes the flow of water and perpetuates the terrace in case of heavy rain, snowfall ...

U-EDGE is a support allowing the use of small cut-outs of slabs (from 2 to 14 cm wide) at the edge of the wall. These small slabs are deposited on the support that can be screwed onto the stud.

U-TABS fins 2, 3 and 4.5 mm thick are used with the U-EDGE. Placed on the support, they create a gap between the slabs and stabilize the position of the cut slabs.

For more stability, BUZON recommends using the U-EDGE bracket with the U-E10 -EDGE (1 mm thick) or U-E20 -EDGE (2mm) equalizer. It guarantees more stability to the slab.

Fixing wooden slabs (PB-FASTENER)

The PB-FASTENER makes it possible to fix wooden slabs and provides more stability in case of high winds.

The PB-Fastener screws into the head Invisible once placed from the stud, it adapts perfectly to all types of wooden slabs and are invisible from the moment of placement.

Anti-lift kit (U-WASHER)

The PB-FASTENER makes it possible to fix wooden slabs and provides more stability in case of high winds.

U-Washer exists in various colors to adapt perfectly to the colors of the tiles. On request, we can make custom U-Washer according to your RAL colors.

U-Washer diameter 35 mm, also exists in 50 mm.
